In Anticipation

Hi all,
Sounds like some of us are jittery about the trip - weather, food, natural disaster, inability to adapt. It is only natural for us to feel this way. There are a few who might wonder whether we could truly enjoy this trip given the fact that there are real fears like "what if we can't get along with our group members", "what if we don't like the weather, the place, the food....." The list goes on and on... I am already getting exhausted listing them. Seriously, for us to truly enjoy the trip, let's learn to put aside our fears ( be it real or imaginary) and focus on what we want to learn and achieve from the trip. So what do you want to learn? Personally I haven't been to Vietnam so I really look forward to soak all my senses in embracing Vietnam... the smell of the city, the interaction with her people, satisfying my gastronomical curiosity with Vietnamese food, understanding the Vietnamese lifestyle....... Of course I am dying to have a good time with the rest of the teachers in our team - bonding and knowing each other. What about you? I hope you'll think about these even before we go for the trip. Our mindset is the most important condition that decides whether it's a good or bad trip. Go with a spirit of expecting good things to happen and you'll be amazed they always surpass our expections. Don't you desire to forge new friendships, make new discovery of yourselves, break away your comfort zone, acquire new experiences ? Get the point? Will catch up with you guys on Monday , 9 November. Don't forget we have a date at 2.00pm.
