Hello! Our group consists of Dati, Jolene, Jing Yi, Hui Qi, Ke Tat and Jun Jie. We are called the Xtreme- six .
What we hope to achieve in this trip is to learn more about vietnam culture, food and history. We are all very excited about the trip as we had never been to vietnam before. However we are worried about the typhoon and natural disaster, weather and climate season. We are afraid that we cannot adapt as we have been used to the hot weather in singapore and we have to come out of our comfort zones. We would like to see the nature ; sunrise and sunset.

Knowledge Seekers! :)

HIHIHI! :)
We are from Group A :

Angeline Chua
Angeline Ong
Ong Shi Ke
Ong Si Ying

Also known as Knowledge Seekers! :)

And we are looking forward to the Vietnam trip to Hanoi!

We are hoping to learn and experience ;
- Vietnam History
- Vietnam Geography
- Vietnam Food
- Vietnam Religion & also
- Vietnam Culture

However on the other hand, we are concern about ;
- Our safety
- Our posession(s)
- Their cleaniness
- Unable to adapt to its climate
- Natural disasters
- Getting homesick
- Getting bored, wasting of time
- Getting lost in Vietnam
- Falling sick
- Food might not suit our taste

Hopefully our concerns will not happen.
(CHOY! TOUCHWOOD! TOUCHWOOD!) :D

Okays, we are done with our introduction post. ^^
Thanks for reading.
THE END!

IntroDuckShuns

Good Day. I'm Ke Tat from 3E5. if you find my name hard to pronounce (which you probably will >.<), you can call me "Square", the short form of my online name "XSquareStickIt". And yes, my group's name is kind of derived from that, which just goes to show how much I rule. Nah, just kidding. I'm a pretty big loser. Which is why I'm aiming to improve on myself by going on this trip.

Oh, and this is an introductory post if it isn't clear enough already.

I don't recall exactly what needs to go into our introductory post, but I do recall that we have to list down the ways which we aim to improve ourselves. So I shall now list down the ways in which I can improve myself through this trip. Firstly, I joined this trip to Vietnam as I am hoping to grow out of my shell. Truth to be told, I am generally described by my peers as quiet and shy. I guess they do make sense, so I am hoping to grow out of this shyness to hopefully see a brighter side of life. Secondly, I want to learn to appreciate things better, which is why I joined this travel group. In the past, when I am involved in a compulsory trip to somewhere, I would moan and whine about it. However, I failed to see the hard work put behind the trips at that time. Now, I am joining this group so as to learn to love the things around me, be it at the comfortable and civilised Singapore, or at the argubly less developed Vietnam. Even before the trip began, I am already appreciating the colossal amount of money that has been sunk into this trip, along with the hard work of our teachers. After all, they were the ones that planned our vaccination trip coming up just this saturday from the time that I am posting, they were the ones that planned for our airlines, they were the ones that would guide us and make sure that we are safe, and they were the ones that... made me write this gigantic wall of text >.<

But in all honesty, I am going just because some of my best friends are going. I am rarely involved in any of my classmate's activities back in my lower secondary days, and I aim to change that. I want to experience the joy of being with my friends, especially in a fun filled environment. Although what I just said is quite cliche, it is still the truth about what I feel.

I am quite worried about me dragging the whole group down though. I'm quite a clumsy person, and I forget things easily. Worse still, I might even get lost in the freezing streets of vietnam and get reduced to a pile of human molecules... nah, i'm thinking too much.

Intro to our group

Our group has 5 people, 4 girls and 1 boy, we are all from 3N6, We are Mustaqim, Rossy lim, Tan Weiling, Jaslyn Li and Tan Xin Yi. We hope to learn new things about Vietnam like their culture, beliefs and taste their type of food. We hope to explore their lifestyle, scenery and history.

Intro Group 2

Hi! Our group consists of Hui Fang, Onesia, Wee Bee, Yan Heng and Helina
We are all from 3E3 x)

Our group hope to learn more about the traditions, cultures and not forgetting the food of Hanoi. We hope to see beautiful scenery which we cannot enjoy in Singapore. We hope to experience the lifestyle of Vietnamese people and how they live without luxury and their hardships, hoping to learn from them and realise how fortunate we are currently.

Yay kthxbye xx

Pre-trip Activities
Get into groups of about 3-4 friends (teachers can decide on the size of each group)
Your 1st post should be on an ‘Introduction’. Write about who is in the group, where you are from, what your group hopes to learn, see and experience during this time overseas. Group photos would be good.
Follow up on the 1st post with your reflections on the pre trip briefing conducted by your teachers. When possible, include photos.

During the Trip
Instead of the daily reflection, daily blog posts about the day’s activities should be posted. If there is no internet connection, please have your reflections done, saved as a Word document. When internet connection is available, post the reflections online. This will serve like an online diary for your group.

Post trip Activities
Blog about what was being done after the trip, with photos as well. Use this blog as a communication channel between your friends after the trip.
